Secondary teacher and Coordinator of Community Services, Mr Ben Princehorn has been featured on the World Teachers’ Day website and Independent Schools Queensland, which showcases inspiring teaching stories from across Queensland.
Mr Princehorn began teaching more than 25 years ago and we are privileged to have him part of our Grammar community for over 21 years.
As Coordinator of Community Services, Mr Princehorn spearheads the School’s service arm, Grammar Helping Hands, which was developed to allow students to provide a ‘hands-on’ approach to giving. From overseas charity organisations to local Sunshine Coast-based charity groups, Mr Princehorn works with students to offer support to the community.
At Grammar, we pride ourselves on looking outward to others and serving our community with passion and purpose.
“It’s all about showing just how fun and rewarding community action can be. We pride ourselves on this message here at Grammar”, said Mr Princehorn.
“It’s always a great day when I hear about our Grammar students taking on volunteering opportunities beyond the school. It’s a reminder to me that above all else we help develop caring students at Grammar.”
We are thrilled to recognise Mr Princehorn and his hard work and dedication to teaching here at Grammar as well as his involvement in our local and broader communities.
