Sunshine Coast Grammar School is set to unveil the next phase of its carefully planned Primary Precinct in 2024, with the addition of a third purpose-built, state-of-the-art primary building scheduled for completion in 2025.
This intentional growth highlights the school’s focus on enhancing its facilities while retaining a strong sense of community that defines Sunshine Coast Grammar.
This significant development builds on the success of the Prep building, completed two years ago, which introduced a four-stream Prep cohort and established a strong foundation for the school’s strategic growth. The new three-story primary facility will accommodate Year 1-3 students in a contemporary learning precinct designed to meet the evolving needs of modern education while aligning with the school’s sustainable and strategic vision.
Thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity and collaboration, the innovative space features cutting-edge technology and open-plan learning environments, creating a dynamic setting for students to thrive. Reflecting on Sunshine Coast Grammar School’s commitment to sustainability, the precinct seamlessly integrates modern educational principles with the natural beauty of its surroundings.
Principal Mrs Anna Owen highlighted the importance of the new development in supporting the Sunshine Coast’s growing population and the school’s ongoing pursuit of educational excellence.
“The Sunshine Coast is undergoing remarkable growth, and our new primary precinct positions Sunshine Coast Grammar School to continue leading the way in delivering world-class education while honouring and stewarding our local community values,” Mrs Owen said.
“This milestone represents an exciting new chapter for our school, ensuring we grow sustainably while maintaining our strong sense of community and commitment to excellence.”
Sunshine Coast Grammar School’s investment in state-of-the-art facilities underscores its forward-thinking approach to education and its dedication to nurturing future generations of inspired learners.
