Grammar Long Lunch
Sunshine Coast Grammar School is thrilled to announce that our Long Lunch is back for its second year on Saturday, 5 October.
Following the success of our inaugural event last year, we are excited to be bringing the Long Lunch back to our community.
As our school community continues to expand, this event marks a unique opportunity to make new connections, reconnect with old ones and enjoy a day of fun as we aim to raise much-needed funds for our School.
Lock in Saturday, 5 October, for an afternoon filled with laughter, fantastic conversations, and a positive impact. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to support our school and students.
The event will kick off from 12pm and upon arrival you will be treated to a welcome drink from the Travel Associates Marquee. We also have an electrifying live performance by the fabulous First Summer Band which will grace the Northlane Engineers stage, which will no doubt set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.
There will be ample parking on campus and while there are no designated parking areas, please refrain from parking in the bus zone at the front of the school. Our event will be hosted by our own Pastor Jon Taylor and Grammar parent and radio host Sami Muirhead from 92.7 MixFM. With their charm and expertise, they’ll ensure that the event stays on track as we saunter into a fantastic afternoon of fun, food and entertainment.
DRESS
We’re in for some fantastic weather, with a warm afternoon predicted. We encourage all our guests to dress in lounge/cocktail attire, perfect for this outdoor gathering. For the ladies, think spring dresses, jumpsuits, or pant suits, and don’t forget your wedges – a must, as we’ll be spending the afternoon on the grass. Stiletto heels are a no-go for this occasion. For the gents, a tailored collared shirt with pants or linen shorts, and closed-in shoes will be just right.
BUSES
Transportation-wise, we’ve got you covered. Buses will be available after the event, and are looking at two departure times at 5:15pm and 6:15pm. These buses will stop at the Buderim Tavern and the Mooloolaba Wharf. For those who leave their cars on campus, the gates will be open on Sunday between 7am and 12pm.
