Last week we had the opportunity to farewell our Head of Primary, Mr Paul Clegg.
Paul steps away from the role he treasures and the community he cherishes after over sixteen years of dedicated and superb work at Grammar, including as Acting Principal.
During his tenure, Paul has worked tirelessly to steward the Primary School of Grammar, supporting our Principal, staff, students and families.
“I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work, learn and lead at Grammar.
I feel honoured and privileged to have been part of the learning journey with dedicated staff, who play such an important role in making a collective difference to learning and life at Grammar,” said Paul.
Paul holds a special and distinguished place in the wider Sunshine Coast region, largely due to his sincerity, deep faith and conviction. Paul’s impact and legacy are apparent on many levels. Grammar students, past and present, remain grateful for their wonderful experience and many profound learning experiences shared with Paul. Many staff have also been mentored by Paul over the years and can point to his significant influence on their careers and roles as educators.
Paul will continue with his involvement on education Boards and Associations across Australia and we look forward to continuing to learn and grow together.
The entire Grammar community and Education sector will remain ever grateful to Paul for his dedicated service over many years. We wish Paul all the best in the future.
