This year, we are thrilled to invite our students, staff, families and wider Sunshine Coast community to our annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, featuring guest speaker Anna Jackson, CEO of Unitywater.
Anna Jackson has been Chief Executive Officer since July 2022. Her focus since joining the Australian water industry in 2017 has been on delivering safe, good-quality water and sewage services for customers, with a particular interest in reuse, and securing broader community, environmental and economic benefits.
She is active in national industry leadership through the Australian Water Partnership Advisory Committee as well as Water Services Association of Australia’s Liveable Communities Committee.
Anna’s professional background is diverse and includes roles in Australia and internationally for Coffey Tetra Tech International Development and for aerospace and technology company Raytheon.
We look forward to hearing from Anna as she shares her journey, insights and vision for the future of gender equality.
Over the years, we have been honoured to host industry leaders and pioneers at our Breakfasts, including Professor Helen Bartlett, Vice Chancellor of UniSC and Amanda Yeates, CEO SunCentral Maroochydore Pty Ltd. This year, we are thrilled to welcome back both Helen and Amanda as our guests. They will also be joined by Sunshine Coast Mayor, Rosanna Natoli, who will be our guest speaker at the 2026 Breakfast.
This year, we are honoured to collaborate with local designer Zoe Kratzman and support The Forgotten Women. Zoe has generously donated a $2000 gift card to raffle at the breakfast with all proceeds going directly towards The Forgotten Women.
The charity is a unique, grassroots housing initiative for homeless women over 55. The project’s mission is to put a roof over the heads of as many of these vulnerable women as possible. Through the acquisition of suitable properties, The Forgotten Women project will ensure these women have access to secure, safe and affordable housing options that enable them to age in place.
Raffle Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50 and are available to purchase via Events Online. The raffle will be drawn at the breakfast. You do not need to attend the breakfast to win the voucher.
Join us for International Women’s Day 2025 and #MarchForward for a gender-equal future.
Tickets close this Friday 21 February – secure your seat today via Events Online.
