Renowned psychologist and parenting expert, Dr Justin Coulson, is set to share his wisdom with our community on Tuesday, 20 February.
Sunshine Coast Grammar School is thrilled to offer this opportunity and provide a platform for invaluable insights and growth for our community. Offering tailored sessions for students, staff and parents, Dr Coulson will address critical topics such as resilience, anxiety and emotional intelligence. The parent session is a free event and is open to all members of our community.
Dr Coulson is a highly respected psychologist, speaker and author specialising in parenting and relationships and will lead parents through the psychological secrets that build their child’s sense of identity, strengths, and growth mindset in order to perform better, be happier, and build resilience.
Based on Dr Justin Coulson’s best-selling book 9 Ways to a Resilient Child, this session shows parents how to help their children cope powerfully and positively with the challenges that life throws at them.
This presentation is one of Justin’s most popular, with powerful stories and illustrations that every parent can relate to. He explains the factors that help and hinder resilience, why common advice such as “toughen up Princess” just doesn’t work, and how competition and praise may undermine resilience.
If you find yourself questioning how to empower your child with the tools of resilience, this session is a must-attend event. Register now for the parent session and listen as he shares invaluable insights and practical strategies that will empower you to raise resilient, happy and confident children.
