New Sunshine Coast Grammar Principal Announced

The PMSA Board today announced the appointment of Anna Owen as Sunshine Coast Grammar School’s new Principal, commencing in January 2022.

Anna joins Sunshine Coast Grammar School from Canberra Girls Grammar School, where as Principal she led her team of 250 staff to educate nearly 1300 students across three campuses.

PMSA Board Chair Peter Barker said “We are thrilled to welcome Anna to Sunshine Coast Grammar. Anna is an accomplished leader. She concludes her time in Canberra having delivered an award-winning Strategic Design and multiple academic, sport and arts initiatives.”

Anna said “I am delighted and humbled to be announced as the next Principal of Sunshine Coast Grammar School. Sunshine Coast Grammar is known for its wonderful culture, and I look forward to being a part of the community. I am eager to meet the staff, students and families, honouring the past whilst looking to the future, and working together to continue to provide wonderful opportunities for our students.”

Sunshine Coast Grammar School Council Chair Ken Watson said “I look forward to welcoming Anna to our school and the community in the new year. Anna impressed us with her achievements, passion and vision – I look forward to working with her.”
